The excavation of the shanty town situated to the east of the bridge (in red on the map) is still considered a future project although no date has been fixed. Let's hope that this area, five times greater than the strip excavated between 28 June 1997 and 29 February 2000 (green on the map) does not suffer the same unfortunate fate.
