The Alexandrina series gathers together studies by different scholars of the unpublished documents produced during the salvage excavations of the CEA and Egyptian antiquities service in Alexandria and its environs as well as on objects conserved within the Graeco-Roman Museum. This second volume in the series demonstrates the varied facets of Alexandrian archaeology with further publications of Aegyptiaca, the results of the recent excavations at the Serapeion, new developments in ancient topography, notably in retracing the line of the Heptastadion, and studies concerning Alexandrian ceramics, sculpture, epigraphy and numismatics. |
